It still both gives me goosebumps and makes me sad every time I watch a new episode of Shippuuden and see Jiraiya fighting with Pain in the intro, when the music really gets going. :C

So, episode 138!

First of all, what the fuck. I'm getting really fucking tired of the way the series faps all over Sasuke's face about how amazing he is and super special. The Kirin thing was cool and all, but come the fuck on. lol I was honestly hoping for him to die in the end just so this whole fucking storyline could go somewhere else for a change. Still a very cool fight and I actually liked how they had the random plant guy describing and explaining the fight this time around instead of the DBZ tactic of "BRO, YOU"RE SO FUCKED NOW, LET ME EXPLAIN IN DETAIL JUST WHY THAT IS FOR A MOMENT"--lol.

Ending was severe bullshit, though. Severe.

On a different note, I've been playing Okami this week and thought their historical references were actually really cool what with Itachi's eyes and techniques. There's a little breakdown of how Amaterasu came to be in the game, specifically, but it pertains to Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susano collectively. Didn't expect Susano'o to show up! lol At least, not in the way you'd think. (Sharingan nose wiggle)

I just had a conversation with a friend about Twilight and it actually disturbed me a little in the end. I guess the main draw for most women (that are into Twilight) is the extreme romance between Edward and Bella, but it really doesn't seem all that new or different from girls who like shitty Bon Jovi copyrock of the 90s and overly expressive emo bands of the last decade like Dashboard Confessional. I guess these are the girls I'd have the initial instinct to stay the fuck away from for the most part anyway, but it's kind of upsetting that Twilight could be the ship to carry all these new followers into this mindset and be the model women use against guys now to encourage them to be "more like Edward."

Is that depressing to anyone else? lol I think the notion to love a certain way is mostly the depressing part.
